I don't know if it works at all or not because there is no games to play. But there is at least one game which has 7 players all named with the same name etc.

What's going on?

Looking into it, but I think it's just that paticular game that's broken, not the entire server.

Re: Open Beta: Quick-Fire Multiplayer

Just want to post my opinion on MP. In short I love it as its a hell of a lot of fun especially as some of the builds are pretty tough (given low time limits etc). I like that yesterday I was in a game where all 3 players were building 3 different engine types and getting very similar points. I really do enjoy that the requirements in most games are tough but versatile enough that different engine types are possible in quite a few of the MP games.

Only complaint is that there are only a few people online and only at certain times. I don't know if this is because the Multiplayer update is not an auto-update yet (or is it?) or weather everyone are just plain not aware MP is available?

All im waitin on is for MP to snowball more so there are more ppl online to play.

10/10, keep up the great work!

Still just a manual download only until we finish the translations and do a few various fixes. I think there will be a lot more players once all 6000 people have the update :)

Re: Open Beta: Quick-Fire Multiplayer

Aye was thinking that :) Are there many issues left to be resolved with MP? What was causing the negative time issue on game length? Was it related to the scenario or the engine build itself or something totally different? Is that resolved? I'm guessing it is as have not noticed any issue with it again since last week.

Re: Open Beta: Quick-Fire Multiplayer

Finally got a chance to play/record some games today, its as awesome as I thought it would be. I'm not any good at it quite yet, but very addicting. I think I said "just one more" about 3 times :D.

I'd join if I wasn't horrendous with building engines in the first place. Tried out the multiplayer and I could never win. I did come second to last once...

Sorry for the late reply, but yep! I was in a game with Killrob. Predictably, he beat me. On one occasion I had I higher score than him, but then he crushed my hopes and dreams because he realized he messed up on a slider and shot back up to the top. :(

Re: Open Beta: Quick-Fire Multiplayer

When I try to open multiplayer I get a messgae "Game version too old for multiplayer". Am I doing something wrong?

I have Launcher 49 and Game build 1319 open beta.

Any help appreciated!

Re: Open Beta: Quick-Fire Multiplayer

Open beta is not the official public build, to the multiplayer servers are still running on the old (automatic update) game version.
