1.0L Quarter Mile Challenge

Just a little "for fun" challenge for you guys:

Build the fastest car (as in "lowest time to cross the line") you can for the quarter mile.
Would be pretty boring if not for some simple limitations:

1) maximum engine capacity is 1000cc
2) the year is 2013
3) you are allowed to use a maximum of 60 manhours and $1500 for building the engine

Post a screenshot of the engine performance stats (testing tab) and a screenshot with the car performance stats (testing tab with acceleration graph showing), like this:

Have fun! Cheers!

Re: 1.0L Quarter Mile Challenge

Can you guys give me a hint on how to get this much power output with still maintaining a decent MTBF? I've been trying for 2 days and can't get a higher power output then 280 hp and that with an MTBF of like 3000-4000 if i'm lucky

Re: 1.0L Quarter Mile Challenge

Here is the best I could do so far, anything is game as long as it is 1.0L right? :P

MTBF should be 31458, but I can only see the numbers in the "engine management" menu.

Re: 1.0L Quarter Mile Challenge

I have a question, how do you take the screenshots you took with the ingame camera tool?
CEO of Seishido Motors.

Suddenly, a temporary logo appears.

Re: 1.0L Quarter Mile Challenge

I take screenshots with RadeonPro which is running in background all the time, you can use FRAPS or what ever you want. The ingame camera tool is not used here.
