Re: Body Modifications

I don't think that they ever sold the V8 Mustang in Europe until now.

Re: Body Modifications

Nope, never V8s, V8s had to be imported, costing tons of money, atleast, for The Netherlands.

Re: Body Modifications

I like how I could just see those who are in the know and aren't by reading posts.

Ford sold the Mustang officially (With V8 to boot!) in Germany as a Ford T5 for YEARS, like from like at the beginning in 1964.5 till like 1979 when the name was reverted back to Mustang. It was one of the most popular American car in Germany. It wasn't an obscured, not in the brochure, sold just a few of them for fun and marketing either. They sold them in great number, enough for them to keep bringing them in for several years. And there's still the matter of UK Ford selling them in the early years... but that's not as well documented.

A Mustang in European Ford Dealership hardly is a new thing.

Re: Body Modifications

Well the recent ones (after I was born) had to be imported, so I didn't know. :P

And woha I'm pretty very sure it's modded. "UTE"/pickup style (modded) cars were a trend in the Japanese drift scene for some time.
I'm not even sure if that's a real Skyline, look at the rear fender, it's missing the typical rectangle arc flare, also, look at the seats and the door(mirrors).
I suspect it's some Japanese pickup truck with a R34 front end swap.

I was thinking of a modified Holden pick up truck.

Re: Body Modifications

It doesnt look bad, nor that pickup with R34 front, but compared to the real deal, so a real Silvia, or a real R34, these things are waaaaayyy down the ladder IMO

You can call me crazy, but I think there might just be a market for this...

You're not crazy, but you might be Australian (pretty interchangeable :P). The Holden Ute/Maloo is huge down there.

Re: Body Modifications

Haha, not Australian (and did you just call all Australians crazy xD?) But yeah, I think this could be a hit in Europe, too somehow.

Re: Body Modifications

I can imagine many Australians getting behind that idea, but around here, most of us would call them bogans :P To be blunt, we also tend to see most BMWs as wanker cars, whether you're a corporate wanker, or a douchebag wanker, so if you combined a BMW cab with a ute trailer, you'd get the ultimate douchebag wanker bogan who probably also deals drugs.
