Body Modifications

Post your cars with bodymodifications you find here. Only the more pretty ones, or to make them look more racecar-like or so.

I came across this one: MX5 meets Mustang/Crossfire?

Doesn't look good, doesn't look bad. it's OK, in my opinion.

Re: Body Modifications

This is probably not in the spirit of the thread, for which I apologise, but after the "aero bug" controversy that nearly sank the Bavarian Rallye Challenge, some users commented that they'd never seen a wing placed on the *front* of a car.

Evidently they'd never seen what kind of crazy stuff people do to road cars in Time Attack competition...

Image

EDIT: Note that this is Chris Rado's WTAC Scion, Chris Rado has a penchant for racing FF cars and seeing if they can beat the other layouts, and quite frequently, they do. He might have been interested in the Pikes Peak FF hatch I created on my company thread! I do believe he also has an FF Quarter Mile Scion which is a very strange thing to behold...

Re: Body Modifications

I'm sure there was a Time Attack Scion in the first Need for Speed Shift game, and that had a wing at the bottom of the front bumper.

Is it just me, or does the driver look like he's been Photoshopped into the cab?

It does... It also looks like the driver has no headroom whatsoever.

Chris Rado appears in the second NFS Shift, his TA and drag Scions are made available to you if you win the final time attack and drag tournaments respectively. Its funny because at the time I was like downforce pfft and chose high speed low drag setups so I could blast everyone away on the straights.

Re: Body Modifications

I love the front bumper, but those bolts around the wheel arches are just diabolical! Also it seems as if the arches and side skirt are a different shade of white than the rest of the car. Or that just me?

Re: Body Modifications

Wow, this thread makes very clear that tastes differ :P

I think they're in same shade, just because the flare makes the light slightly different on them.

I like the bolts because they give a somewhat aggressive oldschool touch to it, but yeah. Although if you don't like the rough sides and bolts it's nothing some filler cant fix.
