Re: Big Automation Q&A 4/2014

I took my time to listen to the whole video - at once! Hypnotized by Killrobs voice, I came to one great realization afterwards: We gotta stick together!
Personally, I am not perceiving myself as a demanding customer who invested a small amount of money into an incredible project, but rather a fellow enthusiast, which means I'd like to get involved as much as my few talents would allow me. If this only means that you check and report every bug you find in the beta update, sharing your freshly designed cars to motivate each person involved further etc. and so on, then that's already a lot.
Ugh, the more you think about it, the more there is to say to that.

Anyways, thanks for making the effort of answering the questions in video form!

Re: Big Automation Q&A 4/2014

Well, one problem might be that you are not a beta tester. Only the devs and them receive the closed betas that you see in the videos. Us common folk only get the latest public release (or open beta).

Re: Big Automation Q&A 4/2014

Are there plans to select the body colour when we design the model and not the platform? Platform should be steel / alu / carbon fibre colour or w/e and then the body colour chosen when we build a model.
Personally I'd like to see manhours and MTBF return rather than production units and reliability score of 0-100.

Yes, the whole process will be revamped in the next big update, having a different color for every model will probably be possible.

Re: Big Automation Q&A 4/2014

Thanks for such an informative video.

Can you elaborate about why you don't like game conventions? Personally, I have a very specific style of games I like to play and I don't enjoy the scene at gaming conventions myself. (I guess I would like it if it was for just one specific game or only games I like.)

Edit: Sorry to bring up an old thread, with my busy schedule I was just now able to sit back and watch the whole video comfortably.
