Re: I want to make something in automation... but...

Find a random number generator.

1=Eco Hatchback
2=Sedan
3=SUV
4=Sports Car
5=Super Car
6=Race car

Done.

took a look at it, not sure if it's just because it's 3AM or not, but the rules just look like gibberish to me

That's probably because it's 3am. Sometimes we forget just how versatile/complex this game can be, so accordingly the rules can get pretty complicated (particularly with those weight/displacement formulae).

yeah, it's the weight/displacement formula that looks like gibberish to me, idk if it's now just because i suck at math or not, but even rested it still looks like gibberish

Re: I want to make something in automation... but...

Absurdist posted an excel sheet where you can enter your capacity and it gives you the minimum weight. So you don't need to do the math on your own ;)

Wow, I love this idea, but it should goes like this:
digit1:1= Eco, 2=Comfort, 3= Sporty, 4=Offroad....
digit2:1=Buget, 2=Normal, 3=Premium.....
digit3:1=Hatch,2=Sedan,3=SUV......
.....
....

Then just get some multidigit random number 8-)

For digit 2 I'd suggest also adding an extremely high budget option, IMO premium could be anything from a BMW or a lincon to bugatti, and for digit 3 I'd just add more possibilities, at the very least I'd add coupes, but if you want you could have anything from a fastback or shooting break to a pickup.
Edit: according to my version I'm gonna be making a comfortable budget coupe... I don't think I could have got a much weirder combination.
