turbo combinations

which is better
big turbo and compressor, small ap ratio
or
small turbo and compressor, big ap ratio

i used the same year, same boost. looks like a smaller turbo and compressor gives more power!!!

what are your combinations

well so you have more than spam to look at here's an answer, what does your engine redline at? because a smaller turbine will be able to spin up the compressor easier at lower engine RPM, so if you have a higher redline, use a larger turbine, lower redline (like for economy cars) keep the entire turbo small, and increase the compressor slightly if more power is desired, that's what i usually do when i mess with turbo's

So do you want a small turbo to feel like a big turbo and spool up really slowly? No.

And do you want a giant, heavy turbo to barely provide any boost? No.

You should usually hit "Performance" for a pre-selection. It provides a good template, Then you can give the turbo more or less size depending your preference.
