*snaps fingers*

That reminds me - I should be writing down engine configurations, displacements, and valvetrains for all entries. I'll have to catch up and do that later.

Re: Engine Sourcing 1985 [OPEN]

Single family V8, only two variants. And among the OHV freaks... :D

Not only that, but the engine is FULLY canonical for my company. I didn't just make up a displacement and configuration for this model, this is one of the ACTUAL V8 models that Ardent would have made in '85.

Re: Engine Sourcing 1985 [OPEN]

Similar over here Vic, the engines I provided are built 100% to standard for LHE design, and are infact based off of the engine family timeline in association for production.

Loving all the RP potential going on in here.

Re: Engine Sourcing 1985 [OPEN]

Mine are also in alignment with what my company would use in 1985. (you can probably figure out the specs for each engine based on the names) Single family, three variants, two actual displacements.

Re: Engine Sourcing 1985 [OPEN]

And I just dropped in a retuned version of the very fuel inefficient engine I made for the Terrible SuperECO. Sadly it makes 0.4-0.5 MPG too much at 0.7 MPG, but at least it is below 1 MPG!

Re: Engine Sourcing 1985 [OPEN]

I feel like I've gotten NA engines pretty decently pegged down now, get them to work as they should and understand (mostly) how they are affected. Turbos on the other hand... they don't make sense to me at all and become mediocre at best. Which is of course why I will gladly supply the standard model of the Peppermint NE-2 with just such an engine 8-)
ABR (ambitious but rubbish) Designs, freshly founded car company in 5th floor apartment, looking for more suitable workshop
Will be updated soon... ish... perhaps... hopefully
