Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [RACE 5 P&Q]

I assumed the -8 was something like that - you're fine-tuning the exhaust restriction. Costs a little engine reliability, but accepting a moderately-low engine reliability was already a part of your plan.

Thanks for the post-review commentary, and I'm glad you enjoyed! :D

You should try and compare in-game drive and sports vs track tameness and sports. Because on some cars (like mine) there's a huge difference.

Race start in 5 hours and 30 minutes! [/hype]

(Note to Murricans: Germany has yet to be struck by the ravages of the Daylight Saving Time, so the race will be an hour later subjective for us than the race two weeks ago was.)

I am up for more car reviews but I want at least 3 at a time. Not just one car.

Having submitted the second heaviest car in the race I'd have to vouch for lighter cars. My last-minute slap a big V8 into a normal passenger car strategy did not quite work as planned. On a positive side, my strategy for bulletproof reliability has so far kept me from being DNF in the races. If only that could be factored into the tycoon part of the game, I'd have strong advertising for safety and reliability.

One day.

One day, I will get a point.

Even if it's just one.

Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [RACE 5 P&Q]

I was surprised to be overtaken at the start and lose two positions because that's the first time my car had a "bad" start. (0-100 4.5s)
The leaders were one second faster and I like to think my pit strategy got me to the top. The rain was very good to me because I was able to refuel, skipping the second planned stop. Very fast too, <11s.
My car had once again, zero errors in the fifth race which certainly helped as well. Third place is a great result.

So the next one will be "cc to weight" ratio based? Or am I reading this wrong?

Very exciting! Congrats Riso that was an outstanding result. I feel for Packbat, I thought she was the one who'd take the fight to Pyrlix, alas, not to be.
I am confidant that my "very safe super reliable" car can deliver me second place! I actually forgot to change my strategy, worked out ok with the rain though.
