Re: Formula One Role Play :TAKING ENTRIES!:

Ladies and gentlemen I present Boss Motorsports entry into the Formula One Role Play Competition. This entire vehicle will be made available for contract competition.

Powered by a motor that uses the entirety of the 1800cc limit to make the most power possible while still maintaining a broad torque curve. Coupled with the right gearing, the motor is capable of pulling hard through each of the 8 gears available.

Here is the available 1.8L TT F1 Motor:

You'll find that the body is tuned for stiffness that should fare well on smooth tailored F1 tracks that the vehicle will be used on.
The following are the chassis of the car where there are actually some fixtures:

Note: I had some saving issues when I built the car. If the chassis that I export to a contracted team doesn't match the pictures let me know and I'll do some fixing.

Press Release: Rothmans Baltazar Racing

Curitiba, Brazil. After a brief hiatus from top-level motor racing, Baltazar Automoveis and their racing division are back to form, and willing to compete on the highest level of racing there is, Formula One. (please don't disappoint us, speedemon) We considered outsourcing our engines and chassis, however, after careful consideration the board of directors decided to make a prototype from the ground up. Using innovative engine configurations, which will remain secret until development is finished, our engineers hope to have achieved a combination of power and drivability, which should help the drivers on their pursuit to the top of the podium.
On the mean time, we are glad to reveal our livery for the season. We must thank our main partners, Rothmans Cigarettes for investing on us, and all our other parters. The number 11 was chosen because that was our position on the classic 1955 season of the Bavarian Rallye Championship and that was also used on the 1965 season. Without further ado, here's the car:

If I can get an answer on whether or not I have to share my chassis with others in order for it to be eligible to compete, I can start working on my own entry.

You may allow other companies to use your car's engine, chassis or both; but it's not necessary. Besides I don't even know if someone wants to use others parts and struggle with tuning them to their needs and their parts.

Pretty confident it's compulsory.

Edit: it's required. See OP under the body and chassis requirements.

Re: Formula One Role Play :TAKING ENTRIES!:

The Trend I've been noticing is a lot of sweet spots with the power curve. I think my engine is a bit easier to drive, with a more sufficient power curve. Don't worry, I'm down there in power though.

So based on what I can see from your graph and what I remember about the boost graph axis (that it doesn't change unlike the torque and power graphs) I see that you chose to limit your boost to 2.00 Bar or 29.01 PSI. My turbos produce 33.7 PSI (2.324 Bar) which will give me a higher max output, but a more peaky power-band. My rough estimate is that those ~4.7 PSI (0.324 Bar) cost you around 75 horsepower but allow you to get into boost much quicker and sustain it longer. We'll have to see how often the high horsepower cars break loose in slow corners while your motor can put the power down.

I'm also curious, did you have to reduce the amount of downforce you could utilize to keep your top speed up when sacrificing that much power?

Re: Formula One Role Play :TAKING ENTRIES!:

I actually only aimed for 200MPH, because that's what a Real F1 car can reach, so I figured it would suffice, I'm pretty much on the limit of downforce, I even maxed out the wing space on my car.

Re: Formula One Role Play :TAKING ENTRIES!:

May I be able to enter Fox Manor Automotive as a team using a purchased chassis, as I don't trust myself to build one that would be competitive. If so, then I will begin working on the livery. And Finishing Fox Manor's logo.

EDIT: Livery is done. Who could I source a Chassis from?
