Re: V6 Supercar's Season 1 Reborn (Chassis Stage Voting)

Oh dear  Then again it was only one of many many things suggested sometime before b14xx. I cannot overstate just how helpful it has been for me, being a fixture nut.

If only it had been around when I made Mercury. I counted... that thing had 312 tables in the lua file dedicated to fixtures alone... that car made my PC chug whenever I did anything with it.

Re: V6 Supercar's Season 1 Reborn (Race Car Trim Stage)

Wellcome to the V6SC Aftershow where we give you the Engine, Chassis, and Racecar Reveals. Don't forget that we also give the race result's to anyone that missed the race.

In todays show we have scheduled the chassis revel to the public, a better explanation of the rules for the race trim stage and The time that the Race Car Trim submissions will start.

First up we have the Chassis Reveal Right after this ad break.

(1 ad break later)

Wellcome back to the V6SC Aftershow where we are just about to announce the three chassis (I'm feeling nice, it was a 3 way tie at the time of writing this) that will be used in the very first season of V6SC!!!!

The first chassis that has made it is...........

Absurdist with the MkIX
Image

The second chassis that has made it is...........

strop with the Feltram Reborn

The third and final chassis that has made it is...........

koolkei with the CookieMobile

Next up we have a better explianation of the race trim rules right after this ad break.

(1 ad break later)

Wellcome back to the V6SC Aftershow where we are just about to explain the race trim rules better.

So here are the rules:
Racecar Tunning:
No changing fixtures but you can change morths and make race livery's by using this mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... earchtext=
Must use a compitition engine (Can't change settings)
Any Engine - Car combo is allowed.
Total Cost: 130000
Year: 2015
DriveTrain: RWD
Reliablity: At least 50
Assists: None
Diff: Geared LSD
Undertray: Downforce
Weight: 1400kg minimum
Safety: Advanced - no negative quality
Gearbox: sequential, single clutch, 6 gears
One entry per user

The first rule is saying that you can't change fixtures but you can morph the body of the car and make race liverys using the mod in the link.
The next two rules are saying that you must use a engine made in the competition but you don't have to use the one you found in the chassis in the first place.
The next three are pretty self explanatory.
The rest are trim related (the gearbox and tyres stuff) requirments

Finally we will be telling you when you can start sendinmg in your racecars

Simply answer, Now!
Deadline: 6th December

All the best luck to thoose who wish to build racecars and here are the contact details if you would like to purchase these fine engine's and fine chassis.

The workshop link doesn't go anywhere. I'd fix that.

Also 82% of statistics are made up.

Letting you guys know that race number 11 has been taken by me, I surgest you do the same as what I have done here so your race number doesn't get taken.
I will be keeping track of race numbers so don't worry about that.

Re: V6 Supercar's Season 1 Reborn (Race Car Trim Stage)

(I am asking this due to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFoMKQQ4v_c ) I am leaving this up to you guys, do you want me to do another revamp of this with changes that I need to make or do you want to make your cars quickly and send them to me asap.
I am fine with both, vote here: http://strawpoll.me/6110599

Re: V6 Supercar's Season 1 Reborn (Race Car Trim Stage)

Yeah I know right. Lots of rapid changes.

I'm also happy to run with option 3: the competitors already selected submit rebuilt chassis and engines and we take it from there. Otherwise you'll get delayed another month repeating the two stage tender.
