A couple of people expressed interest in me running this again.
Here are the changes to the competition I am thinking about.
I will use at least one of the markets, possibly all 3.
Each market will have a sales volume for each of the categories.
Each car will have a sales volume dependent on their competitive score relative to the rest of the submissions.
When you submit you give me the % profit you want.
There might be multiple scores, total profit, best average fuel economy... etc
Also there would be a best in class.
I am debating whether or not I need a minimum price for each category, as well as a minimum primary stat.
I am also debating whether to go with 40, 45, or 50 mpg as the average.
What this means for you... If your anchor cars don't sell well enough you wont meet the fuel economy average and get fined... which would cut into your total profit... and thus your score.
The categories I am looking at using are:
city, family, utility, sport, luxury, off-road, commuter.
Feel free to let me know what you think, and give me any suggestions as to what you would like to add.
