Give me a name and I'll post it :)
Also, Koolkei, you need to tell me whether it's a production or race car. I'm going to make an application form sort of thing in the OP so things don't get so confusing next time.

Interesting tyre configuration on that thing. I don't think I've attempted a record run on the Airfield yet, let's see what I have later...

Yes, alot of big vents in the back. I can PM the car if you like.

If there was no cooling, it would show insufficient cooling.

No, it's ok. I just figured that you called it the "Super legit" in a sarcastic jokey kind of way... as if you cheated with .lua modding or something so it wouldn't have been "legit".

Re: Automation Airfield Power Lap Times

I've been toying with this car for a while and now this thread reappears so here we go. I've probably not got a great chance of beating modern (2015) car times, but for '69 I think its pretty good.

Name of car: Baker Stingray
Intended use: Race Car (its a no-limits concept/prototype of a production car, but because of that it doesn't meet production car regulations)
Year: 1969
Power & Torque ratings: 480 HP @ 8300 RPM & 343 ft-lb @ 6700 RPM

Re: Automation Airfield Power Lap Times

The return of Sleipnir! I accidentally made it the wrong year, as Sleipnir was actually made in 2014 before meeting an untimely demise, but eh, here's 2015 specs. In reality, the company would have remade it sometime in 2016 to look into producing sometime in 2017.

This one is just a mule, it has none of the styling of the original, the body's as slippery as can be and the vents open just enough for the engine to not detonate.

Name: Sleipnir (mule)
Year: 2015
Company: Gryphon Gear
Engine: 7.0L NA V8 "Attafotr"
Power: 1089hp @ 8900rpm
Torque: 974Nm @ 6900rpm
Format: MR

Note: there must be a saving issue or a file reading issue, as I'm unable to replicate exactly the 1:02.10 that I managed to attain here. In fact depending on the order I load the tabs, I can get anything from 1:02.11 to 1:02.16 and the car's weight changes slightly. I'm not sure what to do about this, but the screenshot is what it is! If you do have any queries, I am happy to send the file over for your own perusal (just remember to turn the Active Wing back on, my files have a tendency to switch them off for some funny reason).

Ok, added you both. Once we reach 5 entries on both leaderboards I'm going to switch over to the Google Spreadsheet.

Re: Automation Airfield Power Lap Times

Just a reminder: I assume you're going to add sorting by price tag once we've enough entries? I'm sure it'll factor into one's considerations! (Does not apply so much to the race mode though, where anything goes).

Re: Automation Airfield Power Lap Times

Yes, we're planning to add things like price tags and turbo vs NA and so on... Atleast that's the plan. Things are going to be confusing at first but once we iron all the problems out it should be good. However, I'm not going to have very much time for the rest of this week and next week so it may take a while for this system to be put into place completely.

Re: Automation Airfield Power Lap Times

Price tag is already planned in the Data sheet :)
The hardest thing would be making sure that the sheet gets filled automatically once we fill the Data sheet. Will take time to get the formula sorted, but if we do then it should be very nice.

More rankings should be made, in order to get a better idea of the cars. Such as NA vs Turbo, etc. Because some model are rather outdated here and it doesn't quite represent the potential of a car. The Stingray and SX1 are perfect examples. Therefore we consider running a sheet with cars from various decades. That's an example and we have yet to fully decide on what to do.

After Microwave gets the data on the spreadsheet, I'd suggest you guys not to pay attention at the other sheets besides the Provisional Race vs Prod one. The other ones are here to help me test what we're looking forward adding in the future.
However if anyone has some good knowledge on Excel, etc. or want to give a suggestion/tips/advices, feel free to drop a PM or write that on here :)
