If you are going to make the chrome version; can the chrome outline be done on the rear window as well? It bugs my OCD that the door windows have the trim but not the rear.

Thank you for all the bodies you've made.

I'll be keeping the rear chrome-free like on the real version. I definitely find it weird that the chrome doesn't extend to it with the kind of design it has, but it's not up to me... the chrome-free variant solves that issue. :)

It would be interesting to see a pick-up variant of that body, like the Chevrolet Avalanche.

That's definitely happening. I'm still debating a regular single cab pickup, or I just may modify this with a longer wheelbase to make a full size pickup model. We'll see, but SUV and unibody pickup will be released at the same time, anything else may come later.

The Flex body has been updated, check the first post for more info.

Coming soon...

Still ironing out a few things, and then I'll have to make the Avalanche variant, though that shouldn't take too long.

Hey thecarlover, after you finished GMT K2XX LWB/SUT project, I have two suggestion options and two variants. Warning: several blueprint images.

Suggestion 1. 40s Huge Sedan (wheelbase above 3000 m/118.1 in): I know that you have a plan for this, but I suggest a full-width post-war bodies rather than outdated pre-war bodies. Note: The 40s Sedan mod is filled the mid-size gap, but there was no full-size variants, so I have two variants.
Suggestion 1, Variant 1:

40s Sedan (Huge).png (31.87 KiB) Viewed 14403 times
as well as Image (coupe variant, without rocket grille) (two first images are the first newly-designed post-war era car) or
Suggestion 1, Variant 2:
40s Sedan (Huge) - variant 2.gif
40s Sedan (Huge) - variant 2.gif (15.22 KiB) Viewed 14403 times
as well as fastback coupe variant
40s Sedan (Huge) - fastback variant 2.png
40s Sedan (Huge) - fastback variant 2.png (81.64 KiB) Viewed 14403 times

Suggestion 2. 50s Mid-Size Sedan: Currently, the 50s Sedans were not-Austin A30/A35 (small), not-Jaguar Mk2 (upper mid-size) and not-Cadillac 62 (full-size), so I found the real gap. I also have two variants as well
Suggestion 2, Variant 1: Image (2-Door) and
Image (4-Door). It can made it as a larger variant, as styling was influenced by mid-50s Chryslers.
Suggestion 2, Variant 2: Image
(this blueprint shows Sedan version, but convertible, wagon and pickup exist) (Note: Wagon and Pickup had 2900 mm/110 in wheelbase instead of Sedan and Convertible's 2660 mm/105 in)

I've got a couple ideas for my next project, and my next one will be a unique 1940s vehicle...

I'm also still looking into 40s and 50s cars, but nothing is very clear at this point. The 1940 Plymouth idea I had won't be done since there already is a similar car.

How about a Tucker then?

Tucker's pretty strange, and the front end would need to be redesigned in order to work in the game. That's not what I'll be doing, however, but as far as large 1940s cars, the Cadillacs are what I'd be more likely to do. I'll keep my 1940s project under wraps until I have something to show for it... it's even more unique than a Tucker ;)

Not even close  You'll see it sometime. Not exactly soon, but eventually. It'll fill a market niche for the 40s and 50s.

There is hardly anything more obscure than a 1940s Toyota. But as long as the car will fill a RELEVANT market niche I'll be looking forward to it.

Definitely. It wasn't really relevant IRL, but it can definitely be relevant for many fictional companies, as well as for the tycoon mode when it's released.

I suppose its not a mid-engined, 4-door Auto Union Streamliner sedan/wagon then. Although that would be equally insane and awesome.

I'm not giving anything away, only that it will have 3 body styles.
