thecarlover wrote:As for the xB, the sides really are very flat, I had a full set of blueprints and based most of the shape on that:
They are pretty flat, but they aren't completely flat, if you look closely there is a slight convex shape to the doors of the bB and the greenhouse has some degree of curvature, as conan said, no one (except for one company) still uses flat glass on their cars.

There is a curvature in the model, it's just not very pronounced. I could revisit that one as well to modify the curvature a bit and make it look less flat
I'm always accepting of constructive criticism to make my models better.

I assume you mean a Super Duty or a Ram?
I should be alright with references, there are plenty of photos online, and I'll be adding my own touches to the model, with it being a mashup and all. I don't want it to lean too much one way r the other.

That one's already on Steam and as a .zip on page 13, though I'd hold off on the .zip as I'm about the modify it and reupload it.

Nice to see someone respond positively to the critic of player.
Haven't use them yet.

I was meaning to make one after the Continental, but then the Scion idea came to me
I'm unfortunately having issues with 3ds Max not starting up at all (even after a clean install) so I don't know when I could keep working on it.

Managed to fit a 12.9l v12 with 4x4 (1975) in that thing... very nice.

Edit: as a quick project after this, I could probably rescale the xB to fit kei car dimensions. It's aleady got the right kind of shape, so it would be easy to do.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, when this version of the truck is done, I'd love to have a version with a cover over the bed that I could mount a rear spoiler on. While I know trucks are supposed to be work trucks, I can't help but want to make something similar to the Dodge Ram SRT-10.
Other than that request, I have to admit, I like the look of that truck already. I'm looking forward to the finished product, and looking forward to building a truck that doesn't have to look like it came straight out of the 70's.

It'd be easy to do that once it's done. Would also be easy to give that variant the option of a mid engine to make a supertruck.
