You really made a superb job in this one, thank you very much.

However, as Conan pointed out, you should have a look at those downforce values. Also, the bonnet level morph, which you had trouble to make useful, can't really be picked on my game. Did you give up on that or is it a little bit tricky?

Thanks Leo, I've not given up (see post above), That morph needs some additional work and I was keen to release the model and get some feedback. I'm revisiting that as "we speak"

Awesome car! Very adjustable, could be molded to fit several different styles and time frames!

Re: Maffc's 3D Stuff (Updated 29/01 20:18GMT)

For the rear wheel well, after looking more closely at pics of the princess, it seems the issues I had are present on the original car. Namely the fact that the rear well is not as tall as the front well, or that the rear half of the rear well is less round than the front half.

As for the hood, the way I did it on mine, and the way Daffy seems to have done it with the stock models, is to have the hood use one smoothing group for the whole hood, with the exception of the sides of the hump, which have their own smoothing group.

Currently it looks like this:

Here is an example of a hump in the stock game.

Also, I think this is the first front engined car mod that does not have air suspension when using the Torsion Beam rear suspension. I hope that when he has the time, Daffy will check the suspension models so they work with highish ride-heights. After revising my car the only model of rear suspension that has all the parts still attached at both ends is live axle coil.

That is flexible! It can even be morphed into a pretty accurate Maserati BiTurbo.

First off. I haven't tried the body but let me tell you that this should be the way to go. Making a body with enough morphing to turn it into different real life models, something generic that can be morphed. Instead of some bodies people make that have almost no morphing and that can only mimic ONE real life body. Bodies should be made in a way that when we make our o0wn cars people can't guess what the body is supposed to be. Pretty much that way the developer make the bodies.
So good work on that. ;)

Thanks for the comments, I guess I was more thn lucky with my choice of source material which allowed for a wide range of morphs.

Hi Guys,

I've posted an update to the original download. See the Updated OP for details but it's basically New and Improved Morphs and a 2 door version of the car.

Enjoy and as always feedback is welcomed

regards

I have to say that the back morphs are really well done.

You can have a fastback or a proper saloon only by changing the morphing of the car.

You also fixed the seam issue on the hood. There is still one at the front of the hump that I would personally have removed, but it does help define the shape of the hump a bit more.

We can completely change the look of the car and it's very good! Now with 2 doors is very cool.

I wonder if it's possible to make the same (remove the rear doors) of the 90's and 00's hatch?

cheers!

Re: Maffc's 3D Stuff (Updated 04/02/15 17:05 GMT)

It probably is since depending on what you want to do, most of the job is just removing the seams(fairly easy) and then just making sure it looks decent (which is slightly harder)

But, you would need to have the 3ds files as well as daffy's permission to do it.

Love it! Want it officially ingame? If so, send me an email to andrew@camshaftsoftware.com with the KJC, LUA and MAX files attached, and I'll send you back a legal agreement to sign, saying we're legally allowed to put it ingame. You're welcome to wait until you're done working on it, if you still want to improve it :)

I'll happily release the MAX files for those cars, on the condition that we're allowed to use the resulting new models in the game release.
