Re: Maffc's 3D Stuff (80s Boxy Supermini added 28/03/15)

I actually considered doing one, along with a pick-up, but thought I might have been going overboard with the variants.
When I want a little break from my current project I'll go back and do one.

Re: Maffc's 3D Stuff (50s Small Saloon Added 31/05/15)

Hi All

1950s Small Saloon (sedan) ***Please note this mod is no longer available for download as it is included in the base game***
In order to fill a gap in the bodies currently available, my Third mod is a very small car inspired by the Austin A30 / A35 from the 1950s.

This pack contains, 2 & 4 door Saloon (Sedan), 3 & 5 door Estate (Wagon), 2 door Pick-up (Ute), 3 Door Van and a 2 door Cabrio.

I Hope you enjoy and as always feedback is welcome.

Update 04/06/15
Amended the Pick-up's cargo box to try and hide the chassis a bit more
Amended the LUA Files for cargo space correction

Funky looking car although the source material is also quite funky looking.

But I have to say, I like it. You did a great job. It looks very nice.

Re: Maffc's 3D Stuff

I always have a lack of bodies for 1950's :D
Great car! Now it can be possible to create a competitor for VW Beetle.
By the way, is the body available from 1948 or 1950?

Re: Maffc's 3D Stuff

If I recall it was set to be avail from 1950. (The real life inspiration was launched in 1951).
I'm away from my pc at the mo so I'll check when I get back.

I forgot to post about this when you posted it.

It is impossible IMHO to have too many variants, as long as they somewhat make sense.

Re: Maffc's 3D Stuff

Here is my feedback for the 50s Sedan

Morphing Area: The upper-front windscreen is unmorphable, you had to fix it.

Car Body: The wheel arch is smaller than the 40s small Saloon/Sedan, so it need to be larger.

Body Styles: We need a 2-door Coupe Utility and Convertible in addition to 2-door Saloon/Sedan, 2-door Estate/Wagon, 4-door Saloon/Sedan, because the game still lacks 50s Coupe Utilities and 50s Convertibles.

Anyway, this car would be a worthy addition, because the game lacks 50s small and medium cars.

Re: Maffc's 3D Stuff

The thing is that I don't think this is one of those bodies that could be easily used to make variant spam. Although I might be pleasantly surprised :D

Although I definitively think a convertible version could be doable. Either with a roof like a 2CV or a Beetle.
