Re: Necronn's 3D Stuff

If you can do it, some headlights would be greatly appreciated. There are too few of them and too many grilles already, I am pretty sure that most shapes can be done with what we have, however the same can't be said of head and tail lights.

I would think the grill market is pretty saturated, we have a great variety and can morph most anything we want. Headlights are okay-ish for selection, tail lights are sorely lacking... all we have is vanilla content rear lights and a couple 'modded' versions of the vanilla where the trim is made of plastic instead of chrome.

The chamfer really make it looks nicer, isn't it?
I'll suggest to revise some of your grills in order to give them this addition.

Watch out for the UV cutout... seems it's not perfect.

And, yeah, realights and older grilles looks.

How about some Ferrari LaFerrari headlights, something thin and tall.

Re: Necronn's 3D Stuff

I would ask mainly for modern things, I particularly like the lights on the new Lambo Huracan and the Citroen DS3, both are complex and interesting shapes.

And the headlight bones don't work as they should, so it could end up looking weird in some cases.

preview of what I'm working on atm. Trying something "easy" before something more challenging like the 3DS or Huracan Lights

Re: Necronn's 3D Stuff

If you send me the Max file by PM I could check if I am able to export it.

Or at least try to find your issue.

Also, I don't know if it applies to lights, but cars need a minimum of 2 bones to export properly.

Give me a Few minutes to try 1 more thing and if that doesn't work I will gladly sent you the max file. The light has 3 bones so that shouldn't be the problem;)
