Re: Necronn's 3D Stuff

Nice design. I like it.

I'm only confused a little bit about the black (plastic?) bar in the middle. It seems to be hoovering in front of the grillie and the sides seems to be cut off.

I willt ry the grillie when I'm at home. Maybe it looks diffrent ingame ;)

Re: Necronn's 3D Stuff

All looks good, but I am interested in your wireframes (Press F4) and your poly count (number 7 on your keyboard)
Especially for that Downforce badge you made.

As for your photoshops, they look amazing!

Maybe, you can try to re-scale the UV, as long till there is no issue anymore

Yes.

First, you need to select all vertex near the X=0 axis.

step 1.png

Once you make this, you need to unmerge the UVMesh, and you need to reduce a little the UVMesh with the scale (and make the same with the vertex near x=0 of the rear step), and erase these polys with the redo keyboard key (the same to erase words key), EXCEPT THE TWO CORNERS (not erase the unselected vertex in the image).

And you need to align the UVMesh with the grille perfectly with the help of align tool (first select the UVMesh, and secondly, any vertex of the grille, and "play" with the align position (world).
