Re: Pleb's 3D Collection [IX35 Grille!]

Try ECS_HEADLIGHT

If you mapped the right material it should be transparent.

Re: Pleb's 3D Collection [IX35 Grille!]

ECS_Headlight is the material I am using in the LUA file, but the glass doesn't have the ribbed look that I want (e.g small square headlight). I don't know if I assigned the wrong material ID in 3DS Max, but I don't know what material ID ribbed glass is.

Re: Pleb's 3D Collection [IX35 Grille!]

AFAIK the ribbed glass look is something to set within 3DS max.

And it is not just a material like tons of other things in the game because it also includes a texture.

I'll mess around with it but IIRC the material is within the headlight example file.

Re: Pleb's 3D Collection [IX35 Grille!]

Hey guys,

Just a quick heads-up. Someone by the name of pv2whiteb has began posting my items to the Steam Workshop. Please DO NOT try to subscribe to his "work", as it is not his and probably downloads some shitty virus to your PC anyway. Every time I upload something to the workshop, I will update this thread. So far the only things I have uploaded are the Frontier grille, and the normal and split versions of the IX35 grille.

If you see any other things uploaded my pv2whiteb that isn't his work, please report for copyright infringement, or notify the original owner so it can be taken down.

Thanks

EDIT: It seems that pv2whiteb is a bot, but still, if it posts anymore suspicious things to the workshop, report it. :)

I think that is the same bot that makes spam in this website.

It's skynet - It's learnt sending terminators back doesn't work. so it sent back a spambot to make us all kill ourselves

Pleb, I would seriously recommend verifying your mods after you upload them to the workshop, making sure they don't cause any errors and are working properly.

It seems like you uploaded you ix grille w/o the lua, which keeps the game from starting up.

Also, do you plan on uploading your other mods?

Re: Pleb's 3D Collection [IX35 Grille!]

Yeah, I seem to be having problems with the most basic things and I don't know why... I am still in the process of updating my mods.

And yes I will eventually be uploading all my mods to the workshop, including some new unreleased ones. :)

Yes, Pleb, *please* try to fix this ASAP.....in the meantime, if you could at least tell us which Steam Workshop mod your grille was included in(assuming UMGaming happens to be correct), so we can un-subscribe from it, those of us who've been suffering from this particular error can at least start playing the game again, hopefully.....

Re: Pleb's 3D Collection [IX35 Grille!]

Just unsubscribe from his three mods for now.

IIRC it is one of the IX grilles, although all 3 mods are broken in some way ATM AFAIK.

Okay, looking thru a third time, I actually did find the grilles, and unsubbed. Here's hoping that worked. 8-)

Edit: Yep, it did. Thanks TrackPaduser. :D

Re: Pleb's 3D Collection [IX35 Grille!]

I managed to find the issue with my mods. I had an additional folder in the structure that was unnecessary and messed up the game, that is all fixed so it should work properly now!

Sorry for the inconvenience guys! I also have some more mods to upload soon, so stay tuned :)
