We here at the Miller Automobile Company are proud to announce that we are releasing a new concept track only super car. Today we give you the Miller Phoenix MS-8 R Project. The Phoenix is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.6L flatplane V8 producing 778 HP mated to a 6 speed dual clutch sequential gearbox sending power to all 4 wheels. The Phoenix will do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 220 MPH. We are releasing this as open source for reviews, modifications, ect (give us credit for the original of course).

Re: Miller Automobile Company [1974 Miller Prestiege]

We're going back to 1974 with the introduction of the original Miller Prestiege. Powered by a 434ci V8 (7.1L), the Prestiege was one of the best luxury cars offered around the world at the time.

And of course I had to custom build one myself. I give you the U.S.S. Cranberry Time Machine!

Re: Miller Automobile Company [2002 Miller 343 MS]

We are going back to 2002 when Miller celebrated its 50th anniversary with the Miller 343 MS. Powered by a 5.6L (343ci) Flatplane V8 that produces 680 HP/600 lb-ft that is connected to a 6 speed sequential gearbox sending power to the rear wheels, the 343 is good for a 3 second 0-60 MPH run and 221 MPH top speed. The body and chassis are made of Carbon Fibre. The 343 also features pushrod suspension in the front and rear. The Miller 343 MS had a limited production run of 343 units sold at $240,000 each in 2002. This is a car that truly wears the MS badge proudly.

I really like this car's design, but why is this car's horsepower so utterly low? In the real world, most American cars of this type, with roughly this size of engine were generally able to push out somewhere between 250-300 horsepower(Net ratings were generally somewhat inaccurate up until about 1980 or so, at least in America, anyway), and that's with an OHV valvetrain, and not OHC(direct acting?), as your car appears to have.

(Then again, it's also true that most mid-size and larger American cars in the middle & late '70s ran on premium grade 91 octane fuel, which, puzzlingly enough, is still not available before 1985 in-game, despite it being widely used about a decade earlier in the real world)

And of course I had to custom build one myself. I give you the U.S.S. Cranberry Time Machine!

Haha, cool. Back to the Future, anyone? :D

The particular engine in this car was designed with torque and emissions in mind (though the emissions part I probably didn't do a good job), which this produces 315 lb-ft of torque if my memory serves me correctly. I must've missed the torque info when I wrote this (my mistake). Thanks for pointing that out and I'm glad you like the overall design of the car!

Re: Miller Automobile Company [Miller Neptune]

We are jumping in the Cranberry Time Machine and heading back to 1975, when the Miller Neptune arrived at the dealerships. The Neptune was a first for Miller. It was, up to that point, the first car in 16 years to feature an I4. It was the first time Miller produced a car that had an engine not built by Miller. It was the first time Miller offered a car that was affordable to the truest sense of the word.

The Miller Neptune featured a 2.0L Inline Designs I4 SOHC with fuel injection producing 120 HP and 118 lb-ft of torque. The Neptune came with a 3 speed automatic or a 4 speed manual connected to the rear wheels. 0-60 was 9.4 seconds and the top speed was 117 MPH. The Neptune sold for $11,750. A turbocharged variant also became available (not pictured) producing 150 HP in 1978 that sold for $15,300.

Fast forward to 1982 when the Neptune Celes GT rolled into town. The Celes GT featured the same I4 found in the Neptune Turbo, only equipped with a better turbo system, pushing the output to 209 HP. 0-60 was now done in a much improved 6.4 seconds, and reaching a top speed of 135 MPH. It also only came equipped with a 5 speed manual. Only 200 units of the Miller Neptune Celes GT were produced, and was only available in Celes Silver. The Celes GT sold for $20,100.
