Drew Motor Vehicles

Welcome to Drew Motor Vehicles, where we build quality cars that can be enjoyed by the masses.
Here, our motto is: All of the motoring with none of the hassle!
We were founded on March 29th, 1938 with the intent of improving upon the idea of mass production, and we have been doing that since the unveiling of our very first model, the Breeze, which allowed for the efficient movement of 5 people for a base price of just $588 (in 1940). Whether you are looking for a cheap commuter that can withstand the abuse of everyday use, or a sports car capable of posting times equivalent of their more expensive counterparts, look no further!

Our first production car. With a base price of just $588.45 (in 1940), it offered appointments for 5 passengers to travel in comfort. It's 1.6 liter engine made 78 hp and 97 lb/ft, rather potent for it's day. And yet, it could still average 22 mpg. No easy feat for engines with such restrictive carburetors.

Re: Drew Motor Vehicles

Drew Breeze looks nice.
Can you tell me where this company originated? Because 1940 was time of World War II and I bet for United States, but they loved V engines, not inline.

Re: Drew Motor Vehicles

It originated in 1938. We wanted to develop an alternative to the very weak v8s of the time. It just wouldn't make sense to use a big engine that hindered more than it helped. And weren't straight sixes relatively common back then?

I meant place of origin, not time...

Sorry about that. Even with my glasses on, my vision is average at best. We were founded in the outskirts of Washington, D.C.
