The CZ6 is a Supercar manufactured and sold by Saminda , The CZ6 will be sold as Auxuras in North America and United Kingdom , while it will be sold as Saminda in Japan , the car is bulit in America in California Saminda Performance R&D plant , When the original Auxuras CZ6 made its debut 24 years ago, it forever changed the supercar universe by combining scintillating sports car styling and athletic performance , common traits long associated with the exotic car segment with a new dimension of quality, exceptional ergonomics, comfort, and dynamic poise.

The CZ6 was originally develop by the founder of Saminda before his death , Kuro Saminda , which is a childhood dream for him .

Design, Development and Manufacturing
Development of the new CZ6 involved a global team of engineers and designers, with development of the 3.5-liter twin-turbo powertrain unit centered in Takahashi, Japan. Development of the body, chassis, electrical, interior and other vehicle technologies was concentrated in California , USA. Styling design for the CZ6 was conducted at the company’s Auxuras Design Studio in California.

Powertrain
Featuring a wide V-angle of 75 degrees to help lower the center of gravity, the CZ6’s twin-turbocharged V6 engine achieves the best balance between power production, overall compactness and reduced mass. With a displacement of 3.5-liter, it combines both direct injection and port injection, along with Inteligent Variable Intake Control (i-VIC) to deliver optimal camshaft phasing, for better combustion control throughout the entire rpm band while simultaneously achieving high power output and performance at high engine speeds.

Making use of an electronic wastegate for each turbocharger for faster response as well as more precisely varying vane positioning, the single-scroll turbocharger design allows for the use of smaller turbos to reduce weight and improve packaging, while still meeting power and performance benchmarks. Furthermore, the single-scroll design allows for more efficient collection of exhaust as it escapes from within the cylinders.

Wheels/Tires
The standard wheel design package for the new CZ6 includes lightweight alloy wheels with style spokes wrapped in Continental Conti-Sport Contact 5P tires developed jointly with Continental.

By combining timeless CZ6 values and advanced technologies to create zero delay performance in all aspects of the vehicle, the new 2014 Auxuras CZ6 represents a completely new and uniquely Auxuras expression of what a supercar should be with superior ergonomics, groundbreaking design and supercar thrills every day without compromise.

Re: Saminda Motor Co - 4th Gen C3 - Tuners Favourite

Saminda : the struggle in Europe.

Everyone should be well known of Saminda Motor Co. , a Japanese multinational car company , is it far fetched to suggest that Saminda might eventually withdraw from the European market? That would be the worst possible scenario but where is the vision to prevent such a humiliation for this company, a global giant which keeps failing in EU markets?

In the U.S., the Japanese company can barely keep up with demand for models like the C3 , C5 , CR3 and the CR4 minivan , four of the top 10 best-selling cars in Japan are Saminda's.

But the road is not entirely smooth for the Japanese carmaker. Saminda Motor Co. has suffered a serious breakdown in Europe. In fact the company reported a loss of nearly half a billion dollars in Britain and the Continent for the year ended in 2014 , Rivals for Saminda also logged losses, but Saminda's were twice as big. That's dragging down overall operating profits. "Our biggest worry is weak sales in Europe," says CEO of Saminda Europe , Patrick Albert

Saminda has a very strong R&D facilities and they have reputation for producing the best quality engines around the world. The company’s brand is the 23th most valuable brand in the world valued at $21 billion said a automotive analyst.

Its sluggish sales in the region have forced the carmaker to cut production at the factory, which can crank out 230,000 vehicles annually. Last year, Saminda reduced its workforce at the UK plant by 1000. Because it closed one of the two assembly lines this year, the company has decided to shed an additional 340 jobs, some 10% of the remaining positions.

But here comes the good news , Saminda intends to make major moves to improve its performance in Europe in 2015. It plans to bring to the market its new small CR1, manufactured at its plant in Mexico, along with a new model of C4 R, Saminda's flagship model for Europe.

Auxuras to continue in UK

Auxuras is already having a hard time in the US , there is no doubt in the UK too. Its sales have fallen steadily since a peak year in 2003 selling only 35,000 units on 2014 but Yuko Nagoya , President and CEO of Saminda Motor Co., says he is often asked if Auxuras is ready to pull out of the UK market. "It never enters my mind," he says.

Re: Saminda Motor Co - Struggle in Europe (NEWS)

Why can't Saminda just bring their JDM and America model to Europe? the reason Saminda did so badly in Europe because they simply doesn't care much . And their line-up looks boring for Europe

Product planner for Saminda should get fired !

Compare to the Global C3 and North America C3 , the new C3 has slight but noticeable styling differences from the American version , as for the powertrain the Global version is available in 1.6 , 1.8 and 2.0-liter engine while North America version only comes with 1.8-liter engine but has a higher output , the C3 SR for North America uses a cheaper LE20RS engine which produces 185bhp compared to the RA20R in the C3R that produce 220bhp , The RA Series engine is mean to be high revving and also deliver more then 100bhp/liter since Saminda doesn't opt turbocharged engine untill late 2012 , Saminda ended the production of C3R (C3 Type-R) in 2010.

Currently we only sell the C1 , C4 , CR3 and Type-R in Europe , and so far the best selling model is C4 ( as much as C4 is mean for Europe Market )

JDM and American model like C3 and CR5 doesn't fit it product line in Europe and also doesn't have much demand .
