Re: AutomationHub - Show your designs!

Well, spent my 30 mins before bedtime making a car in Automation. Been a while since I really got to play around in the game again. Normally I only launch it to test mods or work on reviews together with Cheeseman. Let me know what you think, and I'm eager to find out what car you can come up with to compete with this roadster!

Re: AutomationHub - Show your designs!

^ Neat little car. I rated and commented.

Side Note: 2 more people deemed it worth their time to dish out 1 starts for everybody :-/

Re: AutomationHub - Show your designs!

Thanks man. Appreciate the rating and comment.
As for the voting, now at least you know who is voting 1 star for nothing. You can all 'payback' and 1 star vote their company :P
You can never make this fool-proof anyway.

Re: AutomationHub - Show your designs!

Hi there Wizzy, dunno why but I cannot see the additional info (in most models) clicking on 'view all models' option . That's not a big problem per se... but I'm unable to check/uncheck the checkbox 'view in profile'. :?

Seizing this post, a new model in AutomationHub - Cerro TS - (in this one the additional info box is working fine).

Thanks!

Re: AutomationHub - Show your designs!

I see.... Weird indeed as I don't happen to see this particular issue occuring in other companies.
Let me investigate what exactly goes wrong and solve it for you.

Re: AutomationHub - Show your designs!

I spotted the problem. Could you edit the particular car, copy the text, delete the text and save the car.
Then go back into editing the car, paste the text back in and save it again?

This should fix it. It seems the database had a corrupt entry for your Banse car and therefor made the rest act weird.

Cars: I wish

Re: AutomationHub - Show your designs!

Hello. I just bought the game yesterday after several months of watching people play and build cars in the game. I don't feel like making a company thread for a test car, because I really have intention of putting this car in the model line up.

Naturally the first car I built was a mid engined supercar.

Image

Image

At its heart is a 5 liter Naturally Aspirated V8 producing 640 horses. I didn't use direct injection or anything fancy schmancy like 100 octane fuel, because 600 horses is well more than enough power to satisfy anybody.

Image

So what do you think? Ugly? Wonderful? Automotive abomination? Bland? Do tell.

Also how do you get the game to run on a GPU instead of integrated? And how do you get steam community screenshots to show anything more than "image" text?

Re: AutomationHub - Show your designs!

Hey there! Welcome!

Great you bought the game. As for the car, its a great start. It looks a bit 'general', but some more playing around with the fixtures gives you some inspiration and creative ideas hopefully.
If you feel like showing off cars, whether or not they are for a company, make sure you sign in to AutomationHub (click my banner under this post) and register there.

As for your question on the GPU bit. When you run nVidia, you can open the control center, and set the .exe of Automation to use the 'Powerful nVidia graphics chip'.
As for the Steam images, I'm not sure what you mean, but if the text is something like an URL (http://img.thisisyourcarsimage.com/lots ... andnumbers) you can try to post it here with the image tags.

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't read the thread title and should've posted this somewhere else. I thought this was the place for your generic designs, turns out it wasn't.
