Re: Rennen Automotive - {Opinions Wanted}

Opinions on the Staccato ad?

It's beautiful, well done, and really realistic looking, both the ad and the car. IRL, I think that'd be a proper, competitive car, even if it's not my bag.

Really though, all and all, that's 100% believable - good job.

Re: Rennen Automotive - {Opinions Wanted}

^^ what he said

It's a really nice car, and an equally nice ad. Probably one of the best ads we've seen on the forum.

As a sidenote, because of the fact that the wheels look like they're turning, it makes it looks like the wheels have mad toe-in at the front haha

Re: Rennen Automotive - {Opinions Wanted}

Personally, i would say that the AD is very impressive!

However, i'm a killjoy and in my personal opinion,
The front is kind of automation 101... if you get what i mean.
It doesn't maybe look as unique as all your other cars

Re: Rennen Automotive - {Opinions Wanted}

I would partly agree, partly disagree with that last opinion. The headlight arrangement is clearly not a single fixture, and it actually takes a fair bit of work to get it looking like that (I've tuned Rennens and so happen to know that Evan's been honing the headlights for quite a while now). But as for the light + grille, well, I suppose it does look a little more understated, a bit more corporate, which I assume is more in line with the market he is seeking to cover here. That part is clearly up for debate.

To nitpick, the mad toe-in mentioned above does make one wonder why the car is turning on what appears to be a straight bit of road directly next to a large body of water. Is the driver pulling a mad dorifto? Are we about to witness the car plunging into the harbour? :lol:

I know what happens next. I'll end up waiting 5 episodes, and then the galaxy will be blown up and Kai-sama has to get a new halo.

#RennenNAIAS reveal - 2017 Rennen Angeles

Elegance of motion.

Rennen's longest-running single model, the Angeles is an athletic yet sophisticated sports sedan that will please not only on a daily commute but also when the road turns into your own personal Autobahn.

Performance
The new Angeles is available with three new engines: a 2 Liter Turbocharged 4-Cylinder and 2 different 3 Liter Twin-Turbocharged V6's, one of which shares its' roots with the Kusanagi. The C4I-20T 4-Cylinder produces 257 HP and 221 lb-ft, providing potent power while allowing for exceptional fuel economy. The C6V-30T has an output of 321 HP and 293 lb-ft, which lets the Angeles go from 0-62 in 5 and a half seconds. However, the Angeles R is the fastest and most dynamic model, with a 30-Valve V6 related to the Kusanagi, and produces 478 HP and 358 lb-ft and rockets the Angeles R to 60 in under 4 seconds. Don't think wee skipped out on handling and ride; the team who manages the suspension are the same people who work on both the Staccato and the Kusanagi. To top it off, there's a sublime ride and around corners, the Angeles is a dynamic beast that is one with the driver.

Image

Features
The Angeles may be a high-performance sports sedan, but one cannot have a sports sedan without a sumptuous interior. High-quality materials are used throughout the cabin, and space is created wherever we at Rennen could make it. Ambient lighting and a 9-inch touch screen with navigation are standard. Sirius XM radio is optional on all cars. Each car has an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award. AWD is optional on Premium 2.0T trims and standard on Prestige 3.0T and R trims. Alcantara is optional in the R model. Because the Angeles is the oldest car that is produced by Rennen, it has the most prestige surrounding it in Rennen's lineup. For 2016, the bar has been raised.

Re: Rennen Automotive

News: it has been revealed that Rennen will end production of the 4.5 Liter naturally aspirated V8 in favour of a twin-turbo 4.2 liter V8. The 4.5 Liter twin-turbo V8 will remain in production.
