Re: Rennen Automotive

The new Rennen Monzon is an entry-level hatchback that combines the utility and practicality of a normal hatchback and the fun factor and RWD of a sports car. Obviously, it has RWD which I just mentioned. powers comes from high-revving naturally aspirated 2.0L 4-cylinder.
Statistics:
210 HP @8500 RPM
161 lb-ft @5300 RPM
6-speed manual, RWD
2644 lbs.

$16,221 to produce
$22,500 MSRP
70 Tameness
35 sportiness
27 comfort
23 prestige
40 safety

And the performance version, the Monzon R, really lives up to its name of "Monsoon" with a Turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder producing a whopping 306 HP which allows it to reach a top speed of 161 MPH. The Monzon R also has new tweaked suspension, a new aero kit, bigger brakes and more fun.
Statistics:
306 HP @6900 RPM
287 lb-ft @4200 RPM
6-speed manual, RWD
2731 lbs.

Re: Rennen Automotive

The Kusanagi was revamped for 2016. As far as visuals go, it has been unchanged, but now the engine has been made to produce more power and torque at a lower RPM.
Build cost has been reduced to $54,840, while production units decrease to 812.
0-60 is dealt with in 2.5 Seconds, and the 1/4 mile is done in 9.9 seconds.
The headlights are now a new unit.

And, an interview from the January 2015 issue of Car and Driver.

Q: So, welcome! How are you today?
A: Welcome, nice to meet you! Everything is great, thank you.

Q: So, since you're a CEO, new models.
A: Oh, yes. We have our Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S fighter, the Esprimere. Lightweight and powerful, it should be extremely satisfying to drive.

Q: What else?
A: The Amethyst. An entry-level sedan that has the sportiness of a true thoroughbred sportscar.

Q: Big question; future plans. What are yours?
A: Well, at Rennen, we're making a so-called 'budget supercar.' It'll have our turbo 4 from the Monzon, but it'll be tuned to push out nearly 25 percent more power. We're also making a luxury SUV, and a wagon and coupe version of our Trident. But don't think for a moment we've gone soft; those will have to meet the same driving expectations as other cars.

Q: What's your idea of a 'good car?'
A: It must drive well. Steering feel, performance, handling, the lot. All of our cars must meet these expectations. A good gearbox, and also good safety is always key. Styling is also a factor. Remember the Fiat Multipla? Exactly.

Q: Who designs the cars, anyways?
A: Ahaha, I do! No, really. I'm the lead designer for the company. Fisker may not have pulled it off, but I know I can. I draw in my free time, not always cars, either.

Q: How about new engines?
A: Oh, we're producing an ultra-smooth Inline 6 that'll go into most of our luxury cars.

Q:You sound quite confident about your work.
A: You may be surprised about how I'm not.

Q: Well, thank you for having a nice talk with us!
A: My pleasure. Come back anytime!

Haha it looks like the Kusanagi takes after all the Charma cars being that it is only displayed in blue ;)

Charma has been doing that sing the 40s :P

Looks good man keep it up, I will say the first version of the Kusanagi did not fit the year it was produced in my opinion but the new version is amazing!

Not true. It's just that the shade of blue shown is our Rennen Blue. It'll be more unique with the color picker soon :P

Rennen presents our new sport-luxo coupe, the Kasai. With a 4.5L Flatplane V8 pushing out 514 horsepower, this car can really fly. However, Rennen is ultimately proud of our design work on this car, which is why we're only gonna show photos, and no stats.

Rennen has now produces a worthy GT-R rival, the Rennen Tenebris. With 533 HP on tap, this car rockets from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 182 MPH with its dual-clutch 7-Speed Sequential gearbox. Averaging 1.36 G, the Tenebris isn't afraid to tear your face off with cornering forces. Truly a wicked machine, and lives up to it's name of "Darkness."

Re: Rennen Automotive

Another interview has been released from car magazine Automobile, regarding the current CEO of Rennen, Evan Rennen.

Q: Hello. How are you?
A: I'm fine, thank you. Nice to meet you.

Q: So, before we start, anything we should know?
A: Well, not really. Rennen is a fairly open company, so I don't think you need to go overboard with anything.

Q: Alright, then, let's start. What are your plans for upcoming models?
A: Oh, we have many plans. There's an SUV that's codenamed "X-APV", or eXperimental-All Purpose Vehicle. It's a mouthful, but it's going to be on of the very few SUV's that combine sportiness, practicality, and real off-roading into one. We're nearly ready to unveil it.

Q: What else?
A: The Staccato is due for a refresh later this year. It'll have a smaller 4.5L V8, but make almost as much power while offering more fuel economy and more style, comfort, and sportiness.

Q: You're also revamping your small-car lineup, correct?
A: Yes. The Caelum, our most affordable offering, will become more luxurious, have more features, more power, and drive better than the old one. It will also be a little larger and run on a different body style. The Monzon, due to unpopular demand, will unfortunately be discontinued. To make up for it, the Excel will be offered as a AWD hot-hatch version with over 300 HP.

Q: We've also heard that you're unfortunately cancelling the plans for your small sports car, nicknamed "Esprimere". Why is that?
A: We're not cancelling it. Those are just rumours going around. We are, however, postponing the release date due to market.

Q: How come you've pulled the Amethyst from the market?
A: That, my friend, is a complicated topic. Let's just say... Something better is coming soon.

Q: What about any new engines or concepts?
A: We're researching Flatplane V8's, and seeing if maybe we could incorporate them into some of our cars. Right now, it's difficult to work with because of their tendency to be less smooth. We'll find a way around it. No concepts are planned, however.

Q: Well, it was a pleasure meeting with you.
A: No problem. Have a nice weekend!

Re: Rennen Automotive

Jack of all trades. Master of them, too.

Rennen leaps into the SUV market, producing a car codenamed X-APV. Officially named the Terra, or "Earth" in Latin, the Terra will not disappoint in any aspect. The creation process, main factors, and positive points are listed below.

Performance
It starts under the hood, where a silky turbocharged 3.0L Inline-6 resides, producing 322 HP at 5600 RPM and 325 lb-ft at 4500 RPM, with redline goes to 7000 RPM. The engine allows the Terra to glide to 60 MPH in under 7 seconds. The smooth 7-speed automatic provides smooth shifts while allowing the Terra to achieve 26 MPG. Using aluminum all-round, Rennen has gotten the ability to make the car weigh only 4,668 lbs., which is actually quite light for the class. Adaptive Dampers and Off-road inspired sway bars allow the Terra to corner flat and neutral, with minimum understeer. Sport-tuned steering provides phenomenal steering feedback for its' class, while also providing enough heft to be even more engaging. Our main target, however, was the Terra's off-roading potential. The Terra has suspension that is raised high off the ground for more ground clearance. The sway-bars, tuned for off-roading, allow abundant variations within the Terra's suspension. The CI6-30T engine provides loads of torque low-down in the rev range for when you need it.

Features
However, comfort and practicality is a priority as well, with 8 seats and a premium interior. Hands-free calling is standard, as well as a panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth, Sirius XM radio, and a premium 6-speaker stereo system. There is minimal suspension roll, which allows for a smooth, steady ride. Adaptive dampers keep the Terra in-check on bumpy roads, and our suspension setup also allows for minimal bump force. Advanced safety is a must, with 10 airbags, enforced pillars, and many other safety features. All of these features allow the Terra to earn an IIHS Top Safety Pick+. In the end, the Terra is focused on comfort just as much as it is focused on sportiness and off-road capabilities.

Re: Rennen Automotive

Fun and frugal. The Everyman's car with a touch of flair.

One of Rennen's longest-running models, the Caelum is a compact car that will take you anywhere you want to go in style, without losing of of the classic Rennen soul.

Performance
The Caelum is offered with a variety of engines: a smooth 1.8L Inline-4 with 153 HP and 128 lb-ft, the more powerful 2.0L Inline-4 with 171 HP and 144 lb-ft, and the extremely robust 2.0L Turbocharged Inline-4 with 306 HP and 246 lb-ft. These engine allow each car to propel faster than all its' rivals. There are 2 Transmission options for each model; a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission. Thanks to extensive use of high-strength Steel and aluminum, The Caelum is one of the lightest cars in-class, weighing under 2,700 lbs. for the Hatchback Sport. Suspension is tuned for maximum fun, and the car stays extremely neutral in cornering. The R trims of the Hatchback and Sedan both offer AWD, which helps rocket them to 60 MPH in under 5 seconds. Power is also transferred to the 4 wheels all the time, and is shifted to other wheels when it is needed most. Every engine is built with care and precision, and in turn are very high-revving and allow lots of freedom while maintaining very good gas mileage.

Features
Comfort and practicality were also major parts of the development of this car. High-quality materials are used throughout the cabin, and space is created wherever we at Rennen could make it. This forms a roomy atmosphere with soft-touch materials. A Garmin Navigation System is Standard on Premium and R trims, while all models get a 7-inch touch screen to control the radio. Sirius XM radio is optional on all cars. Each car has an IIHS Top Safety Pick award. For the past 30 years, the Caelum has won awards and successfully won over America. Now, in it's 5th generation, it only gets better from here.

Wow. Some lovely marketing-esque talk there! The front lights of the Caelum are particularly good looking, as is the grill.
