Way to Emulate a Restrictor Plate?

I was wondering if there was any way to possibly emulate a Restrictor Plate on a Turbo?

This may or may not be a hint toward what I aim to do in Part 2 of the '16 ARC.

I created a WRC car once, and for the restrictor plate, I used sport intake w/single throttle body to restric the amount of airflow. Also you can limit the A/R to >1.
With sport intake + single throttle body:

Without it:

A smaller exhaust than recommended also works.

Note that an overly restrictive exhaust can cause knocking. That might not be what you want.

It can, sure, but in BRC I used exactly that, and it worked like a charm. :)
