Old lua files

I want to redo my old engines .lua on new steam version. But if I can save some works answer me:

If I create a template Family engine and add a same renamed Variants .lua from pre steam version will it work?

If I try coping text editing Variant .lua files from old version?

Can I download somewhere older offline pre steam version and note variable to redo on steam version.

Re: Old lua files

sorry, but none of the old files will be compatible with the steam release, you'd have to remake every engine

Re: Old lua files

You can send me te engines as zip. I have a tool that exports the settings into an Excel spreadsheet, this makes it very easy to rebuild.

Re: Old lua files

What would be the outcome if I will remake every engine? Is there any possibility of transformation?
