Re: Engine Upload

I was growing impatient waiting for the flat plane V8s to be added so I went ahead and made crossplane versions of the 5 valve F355 engine. The first is the stock motor, the second is my attempt to match the hand built highly tuned "matsu" spec Toda F355 engine.

Re: Engine Upload

A trio of replicas.

First, the LT5 from the early 90s Corvette ZR-1. Couldn't strangle the torque output.

Rover V8 in the early TVR Tuscan Challenge cars. Had to set tech year to 2000 because that's when Ultimate Unleaded can be used and because there's no Race Fuel option. The inaccurate torque is also a result of lack of race gas because I had to run the most aggressive cams just to get the lump to stop knocking.

And finally, Nissan's VK56VD 5.6L DI V8

Re: Engine Upload

German sports sedan specialist MBW introduces an all-new high tech V8 for their 2010 N3 performance model. According to the sales brochure, it "features an improved ion phase inverter equipped with linear flux modulators as well as dual circuit virtual magneto decouplers, resulting in a 14% reduction in primary digital field suppression anomalies combined with vastly superior thermal conductivity wave displacement."

Re: Engine Upload - it's over 999. :3

Re: Engine Upload

For the robber baron of exquisite taste, each Royal Aristocrat Poltergeist IV is handmade in a 12th century castle by assembly line workers wearing top hats and monocles. Not content to leave old world craftsmanship out of the engine compartment, the "Six And Three-Fifth Litre" features polished mahogany camshafts, leather lined cylinders, sterling silver intake valves and genuine ivory spark plugs. In a remarkable feat of British engineering, more than half of the automobiles produced manage to roll off the line under their own power.
