Re: Looking for an engine supplier (or several).

Those are awesome. Can I grab the 1955 5.4 liter crossplane V8 for my 55 sports car? :D

Pretty much perfect for that car.

Re: Looking for an engine supplier (or several).

I can supply you the small inline 4 from Znopresk. We had a SOHC 2v design based on the pre-WWII era block (from 700cc to 1200cc - the famous Rinascita) or a bigger one.
There are also some inline 6 available (around 2.5 liter form BMMA) or the huge 5 liter inline 6 used in the Z5055.

Both companies are set in Italy, near Trieste so the costs of the logistic is very low. ;)

I have to recreate some of this engines. Let me know.

@Yugospy

Can I grab the 1953 5.4 liter crossplane V8 and also send the engine to KLinardo? I will get his company to tune it for a special version of the car. :D

@nialloftara

Can I grab the 246 for my '60 car? Plus also the 246 sport for a sportier trim if possible. :D Thanks man

@NormanVauxhall

The main car left to put an engine in is my planned '48 car. I would be very interested in using the pre-WWII era engine, any chance you could set me up with the 1200c I4? I think that would be a good fit. Thank you!

@Mason148

For yours lets do it the other way around. You make the engine for one of your cars and let me know/send it to me and I'll add a line based on it. :D

So now the only car really left to fit an engine to is the Vornehm, a '54 luxury sedan. Which I'm tempted to recreate a Mercedes engine for.

I could not have asked for such a great response. Thanks guys.

My new computer is going to take longer than expected but when it does I will get right on it. I'm probably gonna come out with my company in the mid 50's like 1955 with an i4 and make an i6 in the late 50's and a v8 in the early 60's but nothing is set in stone and I can change things around if you want.

Re: Looking for an engine supplier (or several).

Ah, I see. Didn't see it. Thanks all.

No rush Mason, I am taking my sweet ass time on writing it up. Apparently Austria has a lot of history to wade through. Did you know that between the 50's and 90's many of it's industries were nationalized to prevent them being taken by the Soviets as war reparations? Neither did before I started reading on wikipedia...... And even IF I post stuff, I can always change it. :D

And yes Cobalt, yes I should. Haha.

As I've gotten enough engines now, apart from Mason's future addition, consider the request closed. Thanks guys.

Is there any specific engine or year that you would like from me? Because my company's story is still not set in stone

Absurdist wrote:The main thing I wanted was to have a connection between mine and other peoples companies. So I'm not sure. Maybe, think up a basic idea of what you might have your company do, and what car it might make that I might purchase the engine from. Then sure, I'd be really happy to use one of yours :D But I'd want you to also use the engine in your line up when you do make a company if you can.

Having said that, maybe later when you make your company throw me a link and I'll look at your cars and ask if I can use the engine from it. Might be easier that way.

Well my company builds literally everything (read my history) for little 300cc things to 10L v8 monsters. Im on school holidays right now so id be happy to help you any time, just message me.

Re: Looking for an engine supplier (or several).

I would love to help! I have several engines that score high in reliability in the 1950s. They also are very good at economy.
