Nice torque curve, excellent reliability, very quick response, a tad pricy but for the super car market your building for its pretty reasonable. These are some great designs flash I can't wait to see that cars you build to house them.

Now lets consider time costs:

583.1/24=24.3 days

Of course, this builder will be working 24 hours a day using that figure, but it will take nearly a month to complete. Realisticly, this number is doubled, and probably slightly more for 8 hour shifts. 2 months to complete an engine is crazy production time, even for one-off stuff really. Most production facilities are pumping out hundreds (or more) entire cars per day, yet this engine takes 2 full months to build.

I consider the time cost/PU to be "man hours," so yes, if one employee was making this engine, it could take months - but - a factory would realistically have people casting the block, while others are casting heads, while others are installing cams into those heads, and others are bolting manifolds onto other assembled heads, etc., etc. The pricing you put forth makes sense, every man hour worked is a man hour paid, but even though these engines are very labor intensive, it should not be a two month build unless you only hire one guy.

Tl;Dr - One man working ten hours = Ten Men working one hour = Two men working five hours = Ten "man hours" = Ten PU

At least that's how I've been understanding it... Have a dev correct me if I'm wrong here.
