Titan Motors is a company founded in 1950 as a competitor to the larger companies that appeal to the masses, like Chevrolet, Ford and Dodge. This topic will showcase all developments by Titan Motors in the form of engine technology, starting with our first engine, the VT1, and all V8's will be classified by date produced and bore family. This gallery will assume that 1 production unit is equal to $25. Unless stated otherwise, all quality sliders will be set to 0.

Seems to be good, couple of tips though.

There is no reason not to use the quality sliders, they are a feature of the game and they are pretty balanced, having a cost penalty for the better engine.
Another thing are those exhausts, cast logs limit the power a lot, using short cast headers might improve both the power and the economy of your engine.

Edit: How do you have v8 engines when you profile doesn't show that you have bought the game?

I try not to use the quality sliders as it is more of a challenge. Also thanks for the exhaust tip.

Also the reason i have V8 engines but my profile says I haven't bought the game is because I play on my brothers account. He never plays anymore so I guess he kind of gave it to me, but I wanted my own account name and everything. Eventually I will buy it for myself though.

That said, log manifolds were typical of the period. If it's historical accuracy you want, stick with them. It's making good power otherwise. For comparison purposes, the Ford Y-block V8 of similar vintage was making 161 gross horsepower (or about 130 hp net).

crap, well I guess I should change my name. Also I know that many companies used log type all the way up to the late 90's, so I might stay with that on some of the cheaper models that I make.

I'm just waiting on a half-ton pickup truck to put it in.
