Most powerful engine?

It's more of a technical simulation achievement. I agree in sentiment but would be a bit hypocritical as I also like game-breaking builds. So it's good to have a not of a benchmark to see what is possible.

That said, I am running a 3094hp engine with reliability of 30 in one of my one-off builds just because I can, though it is vastly impractical

The absolute maximum that I can get is 3312HP. Can't get it higher. Might be cause I haven't slept since yesterday. But at the moment I can't get any higher.

I broke 1600 hp in an OHV twin-turbo V8 (2007 engine).

But I'm really bad at going for pure power. Whenever I do, it's just completely unusable.

I have since improved those numbers, (messing around with the engine builder during lectures helps) 2100hp is my new record. Reliability isn't that great though.

Reviving this thread because a body is in the works that WILL comfortably fit the maximum sized V8 engine in the game. This merges the previously distinct considerations of what a max power engine was, and what the highest power an engine that actually fit in a vehicle were.

So out of curiosity, is this as far as we can go now? I'm not usually given to exploring this particular question, so if you found anything more out of the setup, please do post!
