Maybe its my bad, i build my engines for 95RON, where i live (Portugal) the lowest we have is 95RON so its the cheapest.

BTW on my 1110Kg (with engine) hatch back that engine is making 6.83 lt/100km.

Heh in NZ, 91 and 95 is standard, 98 is rarer I think

You should drop your redline back to 8500 or even 8000!

Why would you want to? The power band is better like it is currently, and the MTBF will not be improved by that much.

Yup if i lower the redline i will loose the powerband and the increase on MTBF is not that relevant.

Here in Italy i usually find 95,98 and 100 RON, but it costs soooo much, over $2 per liter :shock:
