Re: Engine Recreation Thread

Today I bring you a recreation of an engine family.

The Chrysler D-engine, better known as the Australian HEMI Six.
It is a Pushrod i6 engine. I modeled the main variants of it from 1970 to 1977, though it was used into the 80s.

Original Specs:

245ci
Bore 3.76"
Stroke (shared) 3.68"

Horsepower Torque (lb ft) Compression
165 @ 4,400 235 @ 1,800 9.5:1

215ci
Bore 3.52"

Horsepower Torque (lb ft) Compression
Economy (1971)
140 @ 4,400 200 lb-ft @ 1,800 8.0:1

Low Compression (1977) Estimated
130 @ 4,400 180 lb-ft @ 1,800 7.6:1

265ci
Bore 3.91"

Horsepower Torque (lb ft) Compression
Base Configuration (1970)
203 @ 4,800 262 @ 2,000 9.5:1

E37 (1970)
248 @ 4,800 305 @ 3,400 9.7:1

E38 (1970)
280 @ 5,000 310 @ 3,700 10.0:1

E49 (1972)
302@5,600 320 @ 4,100 10.0:1

All High Performance versions came with triple 2bbl DCOE Weber carburetors.

On that note, due to the limitations of Automation, all high performance variants (marked with a big HEMI in the name) have needed some Quality sliders for the valves. Each to an increasing degree as power went up.
One more thing to note: Also due to the limitations of Automation, I have taken slight liberty in the carb selection on NON high performance variants, and have matched up exhaust as it seemed best represented within Automation.
