8.0 Twin-turbo Veyron destroyer

hey everyone, i decided to make something absolutely insane. What i ended up with is a 8.0 Twin-turbo V8 that won't last very long but definitely long enough to set a new speed record. It's powerful enough to do that, too.

Re: 8.0 Twin-turbo Veyron destroyer

and the scary thing about this engine is: it would fit into a Viper and wouldn't be much heavier than the 8.4 V10....

Re: 8.0 Twin-turbo Veyron destroyer

build me something that the Devil would have in a company car, I would love to see a 21.7L V16 with a few turbochargers on it

Re: 8.0 Twin-turbo Veyron destroyer

i think the problem with that would be the low rev-limit due to the high stroke you need. If i build it with the same bore and stroke at this 8.0 V8, it would still be 16.0L but it would rev to at least 8000RPM which is certainly enough when turbochargers are added ^^

Re: 8.0 Twin-turbo Veyron destroyer

I know but lets make something that would destroy everything at the lights and top speed as well!

Re: 8.0 Twin-turbo Veyron destroyer

it actually wouldn't destroy anything at the lights because big turbo = low responsiveness, and massive torque = massive wheelspin. And if you leave traction control on it'll slow you down really hard...

Re: 8.0 Twin-turbo Veyron destroyer

1000cc sadly won't be possible cause the smallest V8 is 785cc and so the smallest V16 will be 1570cc. That's off topic now, though...

The Veyron is a 7993cc engine NOT a 10857cc engine but still good attempt!!
