Mitsubishi 4G63

I've gone through and created my first engine based off of a real one. This is modeled after the 4G63 in the 2nd gen Eclipses 96-99. It's almost identical in power, 210 HP, 210 ft/lbs TQ (real ones have 214) with a 7K redline. I tried modeling the turbo specs correctly, but could be all wrong with those :)

Re: Mitsubishi 4G63

You might want to reduce the stroke and increase the bore... your bottom end (like it says on the picture) is reducing MTBF, you can easily reach 65,000km MTBF (or 40,000 miles MTBF) if you do so. Also you have a very low octane so increase the compression. Other than that, it is a good version of the 2nd gen Eclipses ;)

You have to use the factory bore x stroke or it would not be said engine :P

Re: Mitsubishi 4G63

Remember, 2nd gen, 7 bolt main....crankwalk. They are already ticking time bombs! This game is accurate!

but for those who don't know what crankwalk is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFGGeIw5dwA

Re: Mitsubishi 4G63

Have you tried modifying your ignition timing up for the extra 4 hp ? or up something just one, seems like that would do it :) good job anyway
