I absolutely adore the S30, as well as the engines it uses. I just today pre-ordered the game, so I decided to start out by replicating the engine from the 280Z. I wanted to make the engines from the 260Z, 240Z, and possibly Fairlady 432, but those are all carbureted. I can't get the torque curves right with carburetors, and I'm a bit of an OCD Perfectionist, so I gave up with that.

Here's the engine on the testing screen.

These are the stats I copied:
Engine: 2.8 L (170 cu in) L28E I6, cast-iron block, alloy head, seven-bearing crankshaft, single overhead camshaft
Displacement: 168 cu in (2753 cc)
Bore: 86.1 mm (3.39 in)
Stroke: 79.0 mm (3.11 in)
Fuel System: Electric fuel pump, Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection
Compression Ratio: 8.3:1
Power: 170 hp (127 kW) at 5600 rpm
Torque: 163 ft·lbf (221 N·m) at 4400 rpm

I did some searching on the ZDriver forums to get some other details as well, and I'm pretty pleased with the result. I just wish I could keep this power curve, but increase the rev limit.

What do you guys think? :D

EDIT: I've also attached my L28EC. C for Custom. It's updated to 2013, still has SOHC but with more valves, Direct injection, and very expensive things. I consider it something to be used as a one-off. It's got 400HP at 8400RPM, and 260LB-FT at 7200RPM. I don't have a screenshot of it, so you'll just have to see for yourself if you're interested.
