Re: Video - More Engine Designer Updates

Thanks for the update!

What are the main things left to do before a release is possible?

Re: Video - More Engine Designer Updates

@JVIaarten: The main things to do are 1) bug killing, 2) polishing the UI, 3) add scenarios, 4) test the complete package
@1701adguru: Yes, the devs just do this to torture you specifically ;D My ETA for the demo is ~1 Month at the current pace. (Devs: when it's done)

Re: Video - More Engine Designer Updates

Its looking really good. I love the fine tuning of the mixture and ignition timing i could have loads of fun tweaking those. Is there any chance of varible valve timing on the cams ?

I must say that Ive been impressed with the rate of development. Even if the demo doesnt come out in a month, or even the next quarter, for a couple guys in a flat on your spare time youve done very very well imo.

Re: Video - More Engine Designer Updates

It just keeps getting better :)
Do you plan on adding values to all sliders? Noticed they are visible for Compression and Cam Profile, but not for Fuel Mixture and Ignition Timing. It sure would have been nice to have a number for reference when fine-tuning ;)

Re: Video - More Engine Designer Updates

@Zatotm: I will do my very best to force the devs to do that... sliders without obvious meaning are a double no-go, one for it being a slider and one for being arbitrary hehe.

Mmmm... good call on that one, i'll talk to Zeussy but I agree that they should have a number so you can replicate the same tune
