Please note: Dealing with spam.

Hey guys, as you may have noticed, there's been an increase in the amount of spam in the forums. Although we can easily locate spammers that create new topics and threads, we can't make sure that spam isn't being posted in already existing threads. Therefore, if you do encounter spam in your thread or a thread that you're on, you can easily report that specific post by clicking the triangular exclamation mark on the bottom right of each post.

If you report spam please make sure it is for the right reasons.

Also, I would like to add that you don't have to report the obvious threads... I will delete any new user that posts a thread titled "How to lose 50lb in a month and get all the chicks" without having to even open it. :P
Like UltimateBMWfan says, reporting spam in existing threads helps a lot though!

Guys, why are you banning IP addresses again? That led to whole countries being banned last time and I thought we were all on the same page as not to ban IPs anymore :) Please refrain from doing so.

Yeah, 25 right now in General Chat. Guys REALLY need to upgrade or get rid of the CAPTCHA method, far to easy to crack. The only thing I can think of is to have the mods (sorry guys) approve every new user manually, having the new user reply to an email with the correct answer or something could help eliminate this crap. Lot of work but at least the forums would be clean. And I do know that it is not a paid job, you guys are volunteers, I have done the mod thing too and know how crappy it can be with spam. It got to the point where I was banning whole IP segments even if it meant that an entire country was banned (Bangladesh was pretty much gone, most of Delhi too).

Making an advanced captcha, or for the users with <10 messages and not redundants, wait this users messages to be approved by an admin before posting.

Koreans? The solution is... Gangnam style! xD.

I can't find the korean threads.
