Setting it to public view read only would be great. It's very useful for engine building in game.

Yes, please let the community read what they contributed too...

I've just spent a couple of hours trying to fine tune the Ford Zetec-E 1.8 and 2.0 lumps. It seems I can as near as dammit get the Torque and Power peaks right, but the actual curves are all wrong. (The Zetec-E seems to have a sudden torque drop around 3500rpm - no doubt when the valve timing changes.) I have the right flywheel weights as well.

Would like to see what other people have come up with.

Glad to share if I knew how (where are the engine profiles stored locally? I can't find them in the C:\ProgramData\Automation directory)

Honda F23A1 Engine 1998-2002

Bore × Stroke: 86.0 × 97.0 mm
Displacement: 2254 cc
Valve Configuration: SOHC, 16 valves, VTEC
Compression ratio: 9.3:1
Max power: 150 hp (112 kW) @ 5700 rpm
Max torque: 152 lb·ft (205 N m) @ 4900 rpm

I've tried to produce it over and over and can't make the figures. I hope the new system is better.

Toyota 1ZZ-FE

Capacity 1.8 L (1794 cc, 225 lb)
Bore x Stroke: 79 mm 91.5 mm
Output is between 120 hp (89 kW) at 5600 rpm with 122 ft·lb (165 N·m) of torque at 4400 rpm, and 140 hp (104 kW) at 6400 rpm with 125.8 ft·lb (170.6 N·m) of torque at 4200 rpm.

Cylinders are lined with cast iron. It uses multi-point fuel injection, has VVT-i (on later versions) and features fracture-split forged powder metal connecting rods, a one-piece cast camshaft, and either a cast aluminum intake manifold or a molded plastic one.

(Info taken from wikipedia, found to be accurate from other sources.)

I Think it's really hard to "code" it in such a way that it will be real like for every engine imaginable. In real life are sooo many sorts of alloys, shapes, bolts, piston rings wich all have different proprietes. And if they spend soo much time tweaking the code, how would they have time for the basic design and game coding (managerial stuff, suspension, chassis, bodywork etc. BTW i didnt see anything about interiors :).

I do hope someone contributed some of the Chevy "LS" series V8s, very prominent engine for over a decade.
