Daffy has finished some nice splinky side draft carburettors, as well as getting significant work done on various other intake parts. All in all there are about 20 engine parts near completion, so watch this space for more renders.

We have revised the UI layout for the engine designer, to allow for a much smoother and simpler to understand workflow in designing engines. We have also been working on writing descriptions for each category of part and each part within it. We are aiming to give good technical detail, but also a good introduction and advice to people with little technical knowledge of engines.

We have been talking to people in the sound industry about recording all the various sounds for different engine configurations. So if you live in or around Melbourne and have a car that we could record, we would be much obliged.

For your enjoyment, some Side Draft Carburettors in 4 different configurations for the Inline 4 engine. In total there will be at least 14 different Carburettors configurations for an Inline 4 this is not including any of the Injection configurations of which there are quite a few:

Re: Sunday Update

Nah, at the moment having more than one artist will just make things complex.

Out of interest however, what software do you use, and what sort of stuff have you done?
