Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

Update, an unlock code would be for accessing completed content which doesn't exist. From what I understand from reading dev posts as new content is finalized those who preordered will be able to get updates for it and at the same time as more content is available the preorder price will be increased until full content is available at full price.

Yupp, if you have preordered the autoupdate function will give you the latest update, while someone who has not preordered won't see the update. (or that is how I think it will work :))

PhillipM: Same issue here, there service doesn't seem to like my debit card at all lol.

Guess I will wait until Rockethub decides to upgrade to Paypal.

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

if you debit card is associated with a credit card, ie. had MasterCard or Visa on the card, you should not have a problem. Any rejections should be addressed to your bank. If it does not have either of those, it would not be a usable card.

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

Some banks don't, which I found rather surprising as well. Found that issue at a place I worked at when someone wanted to pay with their bank card which wasn't associated with Visa or MC. The place was only set up for credit cards so they had to run out and get cash since it wouldn't process through the system (extra charge to get the option to run though as 'debit' which company didn't go for since most associate cards with either Visa or MC).

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

My card is a Maestro, which I think has something to do with mastercard :geek:

Kept giving me an error that the code on the back of the card was wrong even tho it wasn't ;)

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

Steve, that does sound like a processing error. Can check with your bank as you likely can do that as a local call and thus not costing anything :) Other than that you could try RocketHub's support to see if there might be an error with their system handling. To help make it easier for you any anyone else that had an error preordering their contact information is at http://www.rockethub.com/contact
Hope the problem gets strightened out for you so you can get this extreamly awesome game preordered :D

It has the same problem with mine so I think it's on RocketHubs side.

Yes, but it saved him phoning his bank for a problem that's not with them

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

With 212 people having no problems and a few that do, the most likely cause would the the card issuer of those few people and not the same place that 200+ people have had no problem with. Thus first place to check wouldn't be the place that most have no difficulties with, that is just basic troubleshooting. In addition, until a very recent post it was a blanket 'not working' complaint and not specific.

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

Ok thanks everyone for the help it's much appreciated.
I have done as you people have suggested and contact my back who "walked" me through filling it the form, they confirmed that I had completed the details correctly and there was no apparent issue with the card and yes I did have money lol my first thought haha..

So I have contacted rockethub who are great and are looking into the issue, been contacted by their processing company who are asking for some information which I plan to send tomorrow before work..

Thanks again people.
