The overall shape looks very good and well proportioned, but it needs some fine-tune here and there.
And I agree, it really looks like a 2nd gen CRX with some slight VW Corrado accents. :)

excuse my crappy MSPaint skills, but have you thought about implementing adjustable wheel arches in your car-designer, where you adjust the body of the car, rather than just the arch itself?

Oh, letting you flare some of the body with the arches? Yeah, the curvy hatch does that already, past a certain point of flares it will start to make a sort of widebody shape to the car.

I implement that whereever I can (wherever it looks nice really)
