Re: Starting to have fun....

Hmm, well the internals of the lights are all 3d, so we can't really make that MORE 3d.

If you're thinking of the glass front of the headlights, that currently doesn't show up all that well due to poor lighting, so that should improve.

Was it the glass front or the internals you were thinking of?

Re: Starting to have fun....

i think its more of the glass on the front of the headlights, it just seams they are keeping the 3d from showing very well, but i think if the game had better lighting it should make it look better.

That pink kill-it-with-fire one (as well as, yes, being truly hideous) has the lights so far forward that they wouldn't be visible from the sides of the car... it's to weed out people with poor eyesight trying to overtake :D

Only thing that I see as a minor bug from the pictures is how the cars are mirrors, maybe tone down the reflection a little bit lol

Re: Starting to have fun....

In my oppinion the problem is that there is no shadows. Thats makes the cars look a bit unreal and detached from the surrounding carage.
If theres going to be bright reflections, there should also be strong, sharp shadows.
But if there's going to be strong shadows, there also needs to be a way to rotate the car or the lights.

Once it actually is fun for players: yes! :) Need to get the car designer into a playable state first though.

Re: Starting to have fun....

Eh, it doesn't need to be playable. All it needs to be is beta-test-able.
We'll make our own fun helping you guys chase down bugs and performance issues. :D

he has a point you know and instead of posting problems/bugs to you directly there should be a forum thread for that :)
