My '93 Prelude 2.0i

Hi there!

Bought my car back in May, for 48 000kr or 9 000AUD. Yeah I know, the prices here is insane. No mods or anything, but a quite good stereo.
It's incredibly fun to drive, but it seriously need some more power.

And I need new rims, those I have now are aweful..

Re: My '93 Prelude 2.0i

I like it! I've always liked preludes and it looks great in that colour.

Rims ARE bad though, but i've seen a lot worse

Power wise, a H22 VTEC fits straight in and makes 147kw/200hp, I don't know how easy it would be to import an engine there, but this is something to look at - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-PRELUDE-H22 ... 564033519d

Re: My '93 Prelude 2.0i

Thanks!

The problem isn't getting an engine, but all the work to get it registered for the car. Months of waiting time to get the DMV(don't know what to call it..) to approve the mods. Then there are the taxes, which are quite large. And if you don't register it, you can expect fines in the area of the amount I bought the car for. So it's really hopeless. A Prelude 2.2 VTEC in good condition costs about twice as much as I gave for mine, so I guess that's the easiest solution.

As for new rims, I'm thinking of buying these:

I too have always had a soft spot for preludes and this one here looks nice :) I like the slim shape of the headlights.. and yes, definatly get some new rims when ya can. The ones that you linked to would probably look really good on the car.

Das? Preludes?

I thought you'd complain that it only had half an engine driving the wrong wheels :P

Re: My '93 Prelude 2.0i

Well yeah there is that, but my grandma had a Prelude (1992 or something) and it looked really nice, then a mates brother had the same model (well same shape anyways) and it had 4 wheel steer etc and that too was quite nice.

I may be a Holden man, a V8 man, a Muscle Car man, but i do appreciate other cars as well :P

*cough* except fords *cough cough* lol

Cars are cars, there are some im not a fan of, but i can look at pretty much any car and say "wow thats pretty nice!" i just tend to wet my pants when its a Holden, Old Ford Falcon, old muscle car.... or some of the modern beasts we have running around Australia atm :)
