Re: Sleepers

My dad wanted to test drive the T5. He was driving in a normal middle-aged man's way and commented that "this doesn't seem to have THAT much power" :D Of course fifth gear at 80 km/h on that thing will feel like an ordinary car. So I told him to stop, put it in first and then accelerate using all the rev range properly. The smile on my dad's face was quite wide when the huffing and puffing started under the hood. Clearly he, too, had no prior first hand experience with turbos (other than turbo diesel vans) :D

Re: Sleepers

Oh yeah, you're talking my language now.

This is my sleeper I built, took 3 years to get this far, still a ways out from where I want it.

It's just a Taurus!

It's snuck up on many would-be muscle cars, imports have no chance. :D

Re: Sleepers

He posted a bit about it in "my ride". http://www.automationgame.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6293&p=71069#p71069 it's a 3.2 Yamaha/sho v6 from the second generation, but I too would love to hear more about it. Did you swap in the 3.0 cams, or get some aftermarket ones?
