Weasels Car History

Hi everybody,

it's my first post in this forum.

I preorderd the game last week, and im so glad about it. The extended demo is great and i waited since the good old ms-dos times (rüsselsheim/detroid/oldtimer) for such a car tycoon game.

I will introduce myself in another post. First here is my car history.

I started driving in 2001 with a Mini Cooper MK2 build in 1992 with a 1.3l 63HP in black.

After that ibout an Opel Calibra 1992 2.0l 16V 150HP in red. I loved this car!

Image

In 2009 i bought an 2009 Opel Corsa Gsi 1.6l Turbo 150HP. Great fundwarf.

Now Im driving an Opel Insignia Sports Tourer 2.0 Cdti 160HP. This is a reasonable car for my ride to work (90km per day)

I'll tell you more in my introduction.

Thanks a lot. I loved this car, not only because it was my first. Unfortunatly the rust came and took it away to car heaven.

Re: Weasels Car History

The Calibra is a great car for the motorway, it is real fast for a low cast car (i payed under 3000euro in 2003). The speedometer is to 250km/h but downhill you can go beyond in the 5th gear in the rev limiter. So you can annoy the other Mercedes, BMW or Audis.

Those Opels (this forum needs a "thumbs up" emoticon)

If my Astra ever breaks down in such a way that I'll need to buy another car, I might try to look for a Calibra.

Re: Weasels Car History

Those cars look a lot more fun then the garden variety cars found round here (canada). Older cars don't last (rust) or become garage queens, fully restored with 100,000$ price tags. Imported cars are expensive to fix and some mechanics won't even work on them. We most drive fords, gmc's, dodge and the odd Japanese or German car designed for the North American Market.
