Fiat 600 1.6 ongoing project
Hi everyone, i will show you my current ongoing project
The car itself a Fiat 600 1980 full of rust, which had a lot of missing parts, (engine, trans, interior, various suspension parts) and wh
So i decided to build a Track day car, and the body of a Abarth 1000TCR. Here in Argentina most of built cars are Fiat and Vw, so i didnt want to experiment with new engines, and i bought what we use most for 1/4 mile drag races. The Tipo engine 1.6, which Normally Aspirated can get with the original carburator to 160hp.
But i wanted to go further, so stock crankshaft, scat conrods, IAPEL pistons (National), ported and polished head, bigger valves, uprated complete valvetrain, a HELL of a camshaft, individual CBR1000RR 2002 throttle bodies, Programmable ECU FuelTech FT400 (Fcking love it), the engine got 199hp.
The transmision is the original Fiat 600 4 speed, but i still havent worked on it, it requieres a lot of money and i want to finish some things which are more important.
The Chasis has nothing original, custom rear suspension arms, with regulable chamber and toe, forged driveshafts, brake discs on 4 wheels, custom made front suspension (abarth like) and 215/50/R13 wheels.
The car is an ongoing project which i started 4 months ago (so it has a looooooooong way to go yet) because i am building it myself only on saturdays.
