Nope, beause now you have the luxury of 4 doors instead of just 2, so there is enough room for backseat passengers that dont need to cramp through the front door onto the backseat.

When you have kids and a carpool, you don't wanna have to get out of the car to let them in.

The sound of it is perfect! And BTW even in idle it's louder then my Lada on full throttle.

I don't know about that ;) I believe that my son's decibel o'app said 125 db at 5k RPM. No one needs to know, the legal limit is 95
No one can tell from idle, it's just purring like a kitten, :D at 93 db. That's legal! (Barely)

Re: My '69 Mustang GT

I prefer the 4 door CLS as well.. I've always had a thing for powerful 4 door sedans, and its styling is quite nice.

However, since they are overpriced and purposefully unreliable pieces of junk, I'll stick with my Saab 9-3. 4 doors, and a hatch, 2.0L turbo, very practical and yet still fun to drive.. Especially with my suspension mods.. Hmm, I really should post it on these forums.

Also great story Gt1cooper. Its good to see that your son is getting into cars now. Experiences like that stick with you a lifetime.

Then get the new S63 AMG... Much nicer and more practical interior, as well as being nearly as fast. My point is that the CLS occupies a pointless slot in Mercedes' model range. Same thing goes with the A7 and Gran Coupes.

Re: My '69 Mustang GT

That's an awesome car. It's great looking with a good motor and trans. I'd love to see more of it (especially vids of it running!) and I appreciate story behind it. You even got me thinking of sharing my own short history with cars on here.

A couple vids of it running and driving. As well as it not wanting to turn off. No real on power footage as of yet.

Something else happened that was interesting. I brought my friend over to my house, and my Dad decided that that was the day to run the car. I asked Carlos what the fastest car he had been in was, and it turned out to be an 86 trans am. So, we took him for a ride. Gotta tell you, his face was awesome when we did a 200 yard long burnout. We also have some cooler neighbors now, who were having a grill outside and cheered us on as it happened. Much better than before!
